4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was by far the best scorer in Monday's clash against San Antonio with 35 points, but it didn't mean much in the end as the team suffered a convincing 125-104 loss. He shot 10-for-23 in the game, including 3-for-10 from beyond the arc. Lillard was also very busy at the line and ended up a perfect 12-for-12 with his free throws. He polished things off with six assists, three rebounds, one steal, one block and five turnovers in 36 minutes. Lillard has caught fire lately. Get ready to see some more big scoring numbers from him with C.J. McCollum (foot) out injured. Getting back-to-back games against Memphis next isn't a great situation for Lillard, as the Grizzlies have limited point guards to 39.7 percent shooting so far this year.
