7 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard had a rough night against the Cavs on Thursday. Lillard scored 24 points on the night despite going only 7-for-20 from the field and 1-for-8 from downtown. He did make up for his shoddy shooting percentages by going a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe in addition to dishing out nine assists. Nonetheless, Lillard is entitled to a night off every once and a while, especially since he is a big reason why the Blazers have won 11 straight. The veteran has emerged in the MVP conversation as of late and is averaging 26.8 points per game this season, good for fifth in the league. He will likely get back on track against the Pistons on Saturday, a team that ranks in the middle of the pack on the defensive end this season.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
