6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was ice cold from the field during Friday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. His 5-for-18 overall shooting performance -- including 1-for-7 from three-point range -- tied for his fewest made field goals this season. He added six rebounds, but his five assists were largely cancelled out by his five turnovers. He logged his normal heavy workload, seeing 37 minutes in the Blazers’ loss. His next matchup comes against the Washington Wizards on Sunday, whom he is averaging 7.3 assists per game for his career, the second-most against any team in the league.--Jesse Borek
