5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard recorded 27 points, five assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block in a 107-99 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. Lillard has been on fire through 11 games this season. He is second in the league in scoring with 32.5 points per game and top 15 in assists with 6.6 per game. He is doing his best to claw the Trail Blazers out of their early-season hole, as he has six games with at least 30 points, including a 60-point performance in Brooklyn last week. His 54.4 field-goal percentage, 43.8 three-point percentage and 94 percent free-throw percentage in November are mind-boggling to look at, and his performance on Tuesday night suggests that he will not slow down anytime soon. Games against a beat-up Raptors backcourt and the Spurs remain for Lillard in Week 4, where he will continue to fire away and put up MVP-like scoring numbers.--Euan Leith
