7 years agoPortland Trailblazers point guard Damian Lillard could not get his shot to fall in a two-point loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in the game one match-up. Lillard shot just 6-of-23 from the floor on the night to finish with 18 points. Dame was able to add seven assists and seven rebounds to go along with a couple steals to salvage his offensive woes. Jrue Holiday kept the point guard in check and for the Lillard to get going, the Blazers will have to make some changes on offense. Lillard did almost help lead his squad to a comeback win in the second half, so this may carry over to the game two.--Gianni Costantiello
