3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard (abdominal) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Pistons due to an abdominal injury. The absence will be the second of the year for Lillard, with Anfernee Simons likely to see a vastly expanded role in his place. Lillard's early-season struggles have been well documented, as the six-time All-Star has seen his scoring average (21.5 per game) and field-goal percentage (39.7) dip drastically. With Portland extremely short-handed Tuesday, shrewd DFS managers can zero in on C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic to carry the offensive load against a Detroit defense that has allowed opponents to shoot a league-best 47.9 percent.
