3 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Damion Lee (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Bulls as he continues to battle a sore left hip. Jordan Poole is likely to continue seeing a slight bump in minutes without Lee available, while Gary Payton II and Otto Porter Jr. figure to take on larger roles within the Warriors' second unit. Lee has averaged 11.9 points per game across his first nine contests, but he remains primarily a score-first option, albeit one who is shooting 43.6 percent from behind the arc. His next chance to take the floor comes Sunday vs. Charlotte.--Jesse Borek
