Damyean Dotson Drops Team-High 26 Points In Defeat
6 years agoNew York shooting guard/small forward Damyean Dotson led the charge during Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, collecting 26 points on 10-for-19 shooting across 41 minutes. The performance was arguably Dotson’s best of the year, adding six rebounds, six assists, two steals and four made triples, continuing his strong play since being re-inserted into the New York starting five. Over the last 10 games, Dotson has averaged 14.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest, which gives him enough fantasy value to justify being rostered for the stretch run. That, and someone will have to shoot for the Knicks, who are merely playing out the string with players looking to win roles for 2019-20.
