Dan Bailey A Decent Option In Week 1
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings kicker Dan Bailey survived the Kaare Vedvik experiment and remains the team's starter at the position. Bailey had a shaky 2018 season with the Vikes, hitting just 5-of-11 field goals from 40 yards or more and registering a subpar 75% field goal percentage. His career average is 86.6%, but Bailey has been statistically declining since his 2015 Pro Bowl season in Dallas. However, he remains the Vikings kicker and draws a nice matchup in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons. The over/under currently sits at 47.5 points, one of the higher totals of the week, and Bailey is a solid (if not inspiring) back-end starting option for opening week.
