Dane Dunning Continues Lackluster Season
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Dane Dunning did not have his best stuff versus the Detroit Tigers. He went 4 2/3 innings, four hits allowed, three earned runs, one walk, and two strikeouts in the 4-1 loss. The Rangers offense wasn't able to help Dunning and two solo blasts were enough to put them away. Dunning will carry a 4.30 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 87/29 K/BB ratio in 18 starts next into his next matchup versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. That should hopefully go better for Dunning, but he won't be an ideal fantasy option. Possibly, a deep league pickup or AL-only format.
