Dane Dunning Earns Quality Start Sunday
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Dane Dunning took a no-decision but earned a quality start in Sunday's Game 1 2-1 loss to the Yankees. Dunning pitched 6 innings, allowing one run on two hits and three walks with five strikeouts. The 27-year-old has pitched well this season, compiling a 3.38 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 11 walks over six starts and 32 IP. It is unknown when his next start will be and fantasy managers should not feel comfortable sending Dunning out in tough matchups, but he is worth keeping an eye on, as he is rostered in just 10 percent of leagues at this time.
