Dane Dunning Has Short Outing On Tuesday
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Dane Dunning got the start on Tuesday, but wasn't out there on the mound for too long. He went 2 2/3 innings, three hits allowed, two earned runs, one walk, and three strikeouts in the 7-1 loss to the New York Yankees. Left-hander Kolby Allard took over for him and looked worse in this one. Dunning will carry a 4.34 ERA and 1.43 WHIP into his next matchup versus the Baltimore Orioles. It's a favorable matchup for Dunning, but he's not a reliable option.
