3 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Dane Dunning (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list with an ankle impingement. According to manager Chris Woodward, "it's been bothering him for a few starts." The Rangers will backdate the IL date with the intention that Dunning will miss one start. Dunning is eligible to come off the injured list on August 13. The 26-year-old owns a 4.07 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and a 93:33 K: BB across 95 innings in 2021. Demarcus Evans was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move. Evans owns a 5.65 ERA and 1.53 WHIP across 14 1/3 innings in 2021. The 24-year-old can be left on the waiver wire in most league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
