4 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Dane Dunning has made the club's opening day roster. The 26-year-old rookie's role is yet to be announced but it's expected that he'll work as a tandem starter for the club. So far this spring, he's allowed just two runs in 8.1 innings (2.16 ERA) with a K-BB of 5-3. Acquired from the Chicago White Sox during the offseason as part of the return for Lance Lynn, Dunning posted a 3.97 ERA with a 25% strikeout rate in seven MLB starts in 2020. He missed all of the 2019 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery. Dunning is ranked by Rotoballer among the Top 50 prospects for 2021 redraft leagues.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
