4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Dane Dunning struggled to find the strike zone on Friday in his third career start against the Kansas City Royals. Dunning only lasted 4 2/3 innings and allowed five hits, three runs, four walks and recorded four K’s. With any rookie pitcher it’s expected that they will have ups and downs. With Reynaldo Lopez recently optioned, Dunning will be given a good chance to remain in the rotation. He’s intriguing enough to be added to managers watch list and is matchup dependent at the moment.
