6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell finished Wednesday’s defeat to the Toronto Raptors 11-for-25 from the floor, including 5-for-10 from deep, en route to a 27-point performance. He has now attempted at least 10 shots from behind the arc in seven of his last eight games and taken 20 or more shots in eight of his last nine. In addition to his scoring, he added seven rebounds and six assists Wednesday, likely to keep his sky-high usage rate up for the remainder of the regular season as the Nets attempt to nab a playoff spot.--Jesse Borek
