D'Angelo Russell Continues Scoring Barrage In Defeat
5 years agoGolden State Warriors point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell opened Monday’s contest against the Utah Jazz scorching hot, compiling 16 points in the first eight minutes. He would finish with 33 points, giving him his fourth consecutive outing with at least 30 points scored. Russell got up 25 shots, 13 of which found the bottom of the basket, including five from long range. Even as he paces the offensive attack, he was able to tie his season high with eight assists, also pitching in two rebounds. With the pace at which Golden State continues to play, it’s difficult to see Russell being slowed for any extended period of time, which should only increase his fantasy value.
