D'Angelo Russell Drills Career-High Nine Threes
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell caught fire from long range during Monday night’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Russell finished with 31 points, knocking down a career-high nine made threes on 15 attempts. He carried additional offensive weight after the departure of Caris Levert, who suffered what appears to be a serious leg injury. Without the team’s leading scorer in the lineup, it could fall to Russell to create additional scoring opportunities. That begins Wednesday at home against the Miami Heat.
