4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell (quadriceps) and power forward/center Naz Reid (wrist) have been given the green light to take the floor for Wednesday's contest against the Spurs. Russell's presence on the injury report of late has been perfunctory, as he has appeared in the team's past three contests as he works through a quad contusion. Reid returned in Minnesota's most recent outing to play just 13 minutes off the bench, paving the way for Ed Davis to see increased fantasy intrigue while Karl-Anthony Towns remains sidelined. With Russell in the mix, Ricky Rubio will head the second unit, a role that has not led to fantasy relevance.--Jesse Borek
