6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell logged a double-double during Friday’s win over his former club, the Los Angeles Lakers, compiling 21 points and 13 assists. The performance marks Russell’s third consecutive double-double, having averaged 8.4 dimes per contest during 11 March outings, which would set a new single month high in 2018-19. With Brooklyn still battling to hang onto a playoff spot, expect Russell to continue seeing a large workload on a nightly basis, continuing Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers.--Jesse Borek
