D'Angelo Russell, Patrick Beverley Questionable For Thursday
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guards D'Angelo Russell (shin) and Patrick Beverley (ankle) have been deemed questionable to suit up for Thursday's game against Detroit. Russell has missed each of the team's past three contests due to a shin contusion, while Beverley returned from a five-game absence to log 15 minutes Tuesday. While Beverley would see his upside increased by another Russell absence, so would Karl-Anthony Towns, who has combined for 22 assists over his last three outings. Fantasy managers will want to check back for the final word on the Wolves' backcourt as both Russell and Beverley will have added appeal if cleared as they face off with a Pistons squad yielding the league's fourth-highest opponents' field-goal percentage (47.2%).
