3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell recorded his first double-double of the season in Monday's win over Indiana, scoring 21 points on 7-for-17 shooting and handing out 11 assists with just one turnover in 39 minutes. He was 3-for-9 with three-ball and even flirted with a triple-double, tallying eight rebounds. Russell completed his line with one steal. The 25-year-old can look forward to a revenge game against Brooklyn this week, but he needs to focus on the Wizards first. Washington is giving up a lot of assists to opposing point guards this season, but they are allowing them to shoot just 40.6 percent, so Russell could have a mixed performance on Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
