4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell (quad) has been bumped up to questionable to play in Monday's game versus the Mavericks after missing the team's most recent outing as he works through a quad contusion. Ricky Rubio figures to earn another start should Russell be unavailable, but the veteran has seen a minimal increase in production when among the starting five this season. Russell's quad injury forced a three-game absence earlier in January before he returned with decreased production. Malik Beasley and Anthony Edwards figure to see larger offensive roles if Russell sits again, so DFS managers will want to check back prior to tip-off to get the final word on his status.--Jesse Borek
