D'Angelo Russell Ruled Out For Saturday’s Contest
5 years agoGolden State Warriors point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell will miss Saturday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets due to a sprained right ankle that he suffered during Friday’s contest. His absence will leave Golden State extremely short-handed with Ky Bowman and Jordan Poole set to serve as the team’s starting backcourt. Russell has figured to be in line for a massive few upcoming months due to the injury to Stephen Curry, although how aggressive Golden State will be as it pertains to his playing time remains to be seen. Russell’s next chance to return to action comes Monday against Portland, where he figures to be in line for a huge workload should he be cleared.
