3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell scored at will against Memphis on Saturday, racking up 28 points in 27 minutes in a 138-95 blowout win. He hit four triples with nine attempts and shot 9-for-15 overall from the field and 6-for-9 at the foul line. Russell finished things off with four rebounds and five assists. That's now five 20-point games for Russell this month after he had a slow start to the season. The Timberwolves have regained some confidence with three straight wins and will have a good chance to extend the streak against a poor Pelicans squad on Monday.
