6 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell recorded his 20th game of the season with 20-plus points, but it was not enough in the loss to the Raptors in Toronto on Friday. Russell connected on 10-for-19 shooting for 24 points and added six rebounds with nine assists to go along with a steal and two makes from range on the night. Russell came out of the gates firing, as he had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists in the first quarter alone, but the Raps made some adjustments which slowed the guard down. Russell will have a tough matchup on Monday when he will be lined up against Kyrie Irving and the Celtics.--Gianni Costantiello
