3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Daniel Hudson closed out the team's 6-1 victory over the New York Mets on Friday to earn his fourth save of the year. He pitched the final 1 1/3 innings of the game and allowed one hit, no walks and no runs while striking out two. The team's primary closer, Craig Kimbrel, closed out Thursday's game and he was unavailable on the previous day, Wednesday, as he was working on some mechanical issues. The team appears to be managing his workload closely at this moment, which led to him not being deployed on Friday. Hudson seems to be the clear next-man-up for saves in the Dodgers bullpen. He's now 4-for-4 in save opportunities with a 1.96 ERA and a 0.76 WHIP on the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
