4 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals will go with Daniel Ponce de Leon as their starting pitcher as they return from their break on Friday against the Chicago Cubs. The original presumption was that ace Jack Flaherty would be taking the mound on Friday, but the team wants to be extra cautious and give Flaherty an extra bullpen session prior to starting off long rest. Flaherty's next start hasn't been announced yet, but Sunday in game three against the Cubs might be a good bet.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
