6 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Daniel Robertson was activated from the disabled list on Friday. The Rays made room on their roster by optioning Austin Pruitt to Triple-A, delaying a decision on Adeiny Hechavarria a little longer. Robertson will start at second base for the Rays on Friday, but manager Kevin Cash has indicated both Robertson and Joey Wendle could start seeing time in the outfield soon. It is extremely hard to invest in Robertson as a fantasy option in shallow leagues due to questions about playing time. Currently, it appears Robertson will be on the short side of a platoon, but when he does play he can offer power, as he has seven home runs already this season.--Ben Rolfe
