4 years agoBoston Celtics center Daniel Theis had an unimpeded role as the team’s primary center for Friday’s victory over the Orlando Magic, collecting a season-high-tying 16 points across his season-high 32 minutes with Enes Kanter sidelined. Theis tied his season high with 12 shot attempts, with seven going through the hoop, as he also added six rebounds and four assists. While he did see an uptick in offensive usage with both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown out as well, should Kanter continue to miss time, Theis would continue to be in line for a large frontcourt role.--Jesse Borek
