5 years agoBoston Celtics center Daniel Theis has been ruled out for Wednesday’s contest against the Orlando Magic due to a sprained right ankle that he sustained Monday. Theis had started each of Boston’s past 11 contests, with Enes Kanter now a likely candidate to slide into the starting five, thereby becoming a highly sought-after DFS commodity. Theis has proven to be a solid source of field-goal percentage, having shot 58.2 percent overall in January. His next chance at returning to action comes Friday against Atlanta.--Jesse Borek
