4 years agoAtlanta Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari got the start on Wednesday, drilling five triples in 39 minutes of action. The 32-year-old totaled 23 points, adding nine rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block in the 115-112 victory over Orlando. Clint Capela (foot) was forced to sit out the contest, prompting the Hawks to go small in the frontcourt with John Collins at the five and Gallinari at the four. The floor spacing and three-point shooting were so effective that it makes you wonder if Atlanta will experiment with Gallo as a member of the starting five in the second half of the season.--Tim Capurso
