Danilo Gallinari Likely Done For The Year
2 years agoBoston Celtics forward Danilo Gallinari (knee) isn't expected to play this season. The veteran suffered a left knee injury during a FIBA World Cup qualifying game. At the time, it was believed Gallinari tore his meniscus. However, upon further testing, he's dealing with a torn ACL, which is much worse. Although the 34-year-old hopes to get on the floor this season, it's not looking promising. Nevertheless, without Gallinari in the lineup, Grant Williams and Sam Hauser will be the likely benefactors on the fantasy end. There have also been rumblings that the C's are interested in free agent Carmelo Anthony or making a move to acquire Jazz forward Rudy Gay.
