2 years agoBoston Celtics forward Danilo Gallinari (knee) suffered a meniscus tear in his left knee during a FIBA World Cup qualifier on Saturday. His prognosis didn't look favorable when the injury occurred. However, after further tests and an MRI, he didn't sustain any damage to the surrounding ligaments or ACL. This is certainly good news. Yet, it's unknown how long Gallinari will be out, so there's a chance he won't be available once the regular season opens in October. Grant Williams III and Sam Hauser will benefit if that's the case, although the former should receive considerably more minutes per game.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
