4 years agoKansas City Royals pitcher Danny Duffy was tagged with the loss against the Chicago Cubs on Monday, but he had his best start of the year so far in the game. Duffy went six innings and allowed three hits, four walks and one earned run while striking out six. It was Duffy's first quality start of the year and the first time he'd made it past the fifth inning. He threw 103 pitches in the game, far more than his previous season-high of 75. He'll be a bit up-and-down throughout the season overall, but he should still be owned in the majority of fantasy leagues.
