2 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays have activated catcher Danny Jansen (hand) from the 10-day injured list. He will be starting behind the plate and batting ninth in the team's matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. Fellow catcher Gabriel Moreno was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Jansen was sidelined a little over a month after fracturing a bone in his left hand. The 27-year-old has been held to just 19 games this year due to injuries, but he's performed well when he's been active. Over those 19 games, he's hit seven home runs while adding 13 RBI and nine runs to go along with a .232/.290/.625 slash line.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
