5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Danny Santana (calf) was removed from the first game of spring training on Friday for precautionary reasons. The utility man led off against the Kansas City Royals and grounded out on the first pitch he saw. Santana was a big surprise in 2019 as he produced all over the diamond for Texas with 28 home runs and 21 steals. One of the top prospects in the Rangers organization, infielder Nick Solak, should see more at bats in spring training if Santana misses anytime with this injury.--Euan Leith
