6 years agoUtah Jazz point guard Dante Exum entered the starting lineup Saturday versus the New York Knicks in place of the injured Ricky Rubio and promptly set a new career high in assists with 13. It marks Exum’s second-ever double-digit assist performance, and first double-double as he added 13 points as well. If anything, his line was stunted by the fact that the Jazz found themselves up by 37 points at the half, leading to Exum logging just 26 minutes. The Toronto Raptors should present more resistance than New York come Tuesday, but Exum makes a hard case for being rostered after just a single performance if Rubio is confirmed to again be sidelined.--Jesse Borek
