Danuel House Records First Double-Double Of Season In Win

4 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard/small forward Danuel House logged a career-high 46 minutes during Monday’s victory over the Utah Jazz, pressed into duty with the team strapped for healthy bodies. He utilized that time on the floor to collect his first double-double of the season, with 21 points and a season-high 11 rebounds to his credit. Additionally, he was a menace on the defensive end, logging five steals. House’s offensive contributions have fluctuated wildly this season, as he has been primarily utilized as a spot-up shooter. Should Clint Capela remain out of the equation Wednesday against Portland, House would presumably retain a large role due to his ability to rebound.--Jesse Borek
