2 years agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland has agreed to an extension with the team. The deal is worth $193 million over five years, with the potential for the young superstar to earn as much as $231 million. The 22-year-old is coming off the best season of his career, finishing 2021-22 by averaging 21.7 points, 8.6 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals, all while shooting 38.3% from deep. Garland hasn't played more than 68 games in any given year, which should be a cause for concern for fantasy managers, and the expected return of Collin Sexton (knee) may cause his scoring numbers to decrease to some degree.
