Darius Garland, Isaiah Hartenstein, Lamar Stevens Out Saturday
4 years agoThe Cleveland Cavaliers will be significantly short-handed for Saturday's game versus the Heat as point guard Darius Garland (ankle), center Isaiah Hartenstein (concussion) and small forward Lamar Stevens (concussion) have all been deemed unavailable. Garland's loss is the most significant for Cleveland, who is likely to shift Collin Sexton over to the starting PG spot, thereby elevating his assists upside, as well as his potential for increased shot attempts. Garland is coming off an eight-game stretch where he averaged 22.8 PPG from April 15-Wednesday, with Damyean Dotson and Isaac Okoro candidates to help pick up the scoring slack. The next chance that any of the trio will have to suit up comes Tuesday against Phoenix.
