Darius Garland Stays Aggressive, Scuffles From Field

4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point/shooting guard Darius Garland has seen his usage rate take a sharp uptick since after Christmas, and he followed through again during Thursday’s loss to the Washington Wizards. For owners who can look past his 4-for-17 shooting effort, Garland finished with 13 points and four assists across his team-high 38 minutes. He has now taken double-digit shot attempts in each of his last 14 games, all of which have been double-digit scoring efforts. The 19-year-old has shown immense potential in the past month and should be sought-after in most dynasty formats. He remains a perpetual high upside play in DFS due to his shot volume, with his next time on the court coming Saturday against Chicago.--Jesse Borek
