3 years agoThe Los Angeles Lakers have brought aboard point guard Darren Collison and small/power forward Stanley Johnson on 10-day contracts and anticipate having both available for Saturday's contest against Brooklyn. Collison joins Isaiah Thomas in being a former big name PG that the team has brought in amidst its troubles with injuries and the league's health and safety protocols. Collison last appeared in the NBA in 2018-19 with Indiana, having led the league in three-point shooting percentage (46.8%) the year prior. Johnson appeared in 61 games (13 starts) last year with the Raptors, but he has scuffled from the field throughout his career (37.5 percent). Neither player moves the fantasy needle immediately, but Collison could play his way back into relevance if he is able to get his deal extended into the new year.--Jesse Borek
