4 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard/small forward David Nwaba (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against Oklahoma City due to an ankle injury. Nwaba's absence marks his second consecutive outing on the sidelines, with head coach Stephen Silas stating that Nwaba was able to move well during shootaround Wednesday, an indication that his return may not be far off. With Houston's backcourt/wing having returned to a semblance of full health, Nwaba has seen decreased minutes, which has zapped him of his season-long intrigue. His next chance to take the floor comes Thursday versus the Grizzlies.--Jesse Borek
