3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta (back) was scratched from the starting lineup for Monday night's game against the San Diego Padres. Initially, no reason was given for the lineup change, but it was eventually revealed that Peralta was dealing with lower back tightness. We haven't been told anything in regards to the severity of the injury, so he should be considered day-to-day for now. Jordan Luplow wound up covering left field in Peralta's place for Monday's game. Peralta has been slumping at the plate lately. He's slashing just .200/.231/.320 so far in June and he hasn't homered since May 24.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
