4 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Davis Bertans will be limited to around 18-20 minutes during Wednesday's season opener versus the 76ers. With Rui Hachimura (illness) already ruled out in the frontcourt, Deni Avdija and Moritz Wagner figure to factor in behind Bertans. Having been utilized primarily as a bench ace for the Wizards last season, Bertans was handed a hefty long-term deal during the offseason, looking to build on the career-high 15.4 PPG that he averaged last year. Having finished tied for fourth in the league with 3.7 threes made per contest, Bertans will carry ample DFS and season-long appeal once his minutes cap is lifted.--Jesse Borek
