7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Davis Bertans scored 12 points and recorded three blocks in Monday's 101-99 loss to the Jazz. The Latvian shot well from the floor, going 5-for-8, including 2-for-4 from behind the arc. He also had four rebounds and a steal in 29 minutes. Bertans has now reached double figures in scoring in consecutive outings, and he should be able to extend that run on Tuesday against Denver. LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle) is still out, and it seems likely that head coach Gregg Popovich will limit the minutes of his veterans. Bertans had one of his better scoring outputs of the season against the Nuggets a month ago, as he finished with 18 points in just 23 minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
