3 years agoSacramento Kings point guards De'Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell have been ruled for Friday's contest against the Grizzlies. Both players had entered the league's health and safety protocols earlier in the week, and the issues are so widespread with the Kings that it will come down to the wire if they have the requisite eight players available to take the floor. Tyrese Haliburton (back) would see a seismic increase in usage if he is able to suit up, while Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes would be the emergency primary ball-handlers waiting in the wings. The next chance for Fox and/or Mitchell to get back in action comes Sunday vs. San Antonio, but the protocols offer oodles of uncertainty.--Jesse Borek
