3 years agoPhoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton was a force during his team's Game 5 victory over the Mavericks, compiling 20 points on 9-for-13 shooting across his 22 minutes of action. Ayton wasn't needed for a full allotment of his minutes due to the nature of the victory, as he also snatched nine rebounds and added two assists. Bismack Biyombo largely replaced JaVale McGee as the big man off the bench, but Ayton continued his impressive series in which he has now averaged 16.8 points and 8.4 boards while shooting 58.7% overall. The 23-year-old logged double-doubles in both previous contests in Dallas for Games 3 and 4.--Jesse Borek
