4 years agoPhoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton produced his second straight double-double in a 111-86 win over the Pelicans. Ayton played just 26 minutes- as Phoenix coasted to a 100-61 lead at the end of the third quarter. It's been a disappointing start to the season for the big man, as he's seen his shot attempts fall from a career-high 14.9 last season to just 9.0 through four games this year. It's still early, so hopefully, Ayton gets more shot attempts in the Suns' offense, as he's more than just a rebounder and pick-and-roll threat. The former number-one pick will get a day off before taking on defensive stud Rudy Gobert, who allowed Ayton to shoot 8 of 9 from the field in their lone meeting last season.--Tim Capurso
